It's now time to think about the all-important move. Whether you are planning to store with us or book a direct move, getting ahead is key.

Get a survey – Book a free no obligation survey with Ollands. Your quotation will be sent out following the appointment. We would recommend booking surveys around 6-8 weeks prior to when you are looking to move.
Book! Should you wish to book our services, we would recommend doing so 4-6 weeks prior to your move taking place. We understand that removals are extremely fluid so we won’t hold you to the initial dates that you provide us.
Are you packing yourself? If so, let us know when you require boxes to make a start. We would recommend 2-3 weeks prior to the move to start packing. However, there is no time like the present. We are able to deliver boxes as soon as you have accepted your quotation.
Inform utilities, bank etc that you are moving and provide your new address.
Do you need that? Moving house is the perfect time to downsize and declutter.
Whether it be clearing out the loft, reorganising your wardrobe or clearing out the garden shed – it’ll help you in the long run.
The big day has arrived, its removal day.
Our removals service is bespoke, no two moves are the same. When we send our quotation for your approval you will also receive a tailored itinerary advising how we are going to complete your move.
Pets? Make a plan as to what you will do with your pets on the day of the removal.
A move is extremely stressful for us humans but can be just as confusing for our pets. As much as we love our furry friends, we are not able to transport any live animals.
